Blogger Search Description for Individual Posts

Blogger platform rolled out its new feature of assigning a unique description to your every single blog post; it helps you set up an alluring description snippet to attract visitors from SERPS, most of bloggers grumble about the duplicate descriptions in HTML suggestion in GWT now it’s time to address all those issues by adding up different one’s to every single post, before this feature in blogger dashboard it was really difficult to add description to every single post, you have to put up a lot of conditional tags in the head section of your blogs on by one.

What if you don’t use it…?

Well Google WebCrawler’s are smart enough to fetch the first few lines of your blog posts as the description to show up in SERPS, if you don’t add it up manually that’s not a big deal, but If you wish to set up an appealing description so that users jump onto your site for sure, then I would suggest you to add this new feature.

How to Enable Search Descriptions:

Click on setting>Search Preferences>Descriptions [Meta tags]

Click on the Edit button and Enable this Feature, you can set up Home page URL Description from here, Now Go to create a new post, the new search description is waiting for you.
